I think Parker easily offers the 'best bang for the buck' in razors. The Parker Variant has been my favorite adjustable safety razor for years!
My most used and cherished Parker Safety Razor combo is my badger brush and the amazing Adjustable Variant double edge safety razor. Amazing quality and an amazing shave.
I just recently started shaving with one of these bad boys and I bought the Parker SRX initially because its great look. It performs just as well as it looks. It's very solid and has a nice weight to it.
The last few years have seen wet shavers bombarded with singe-edge designs based on injector, or magnetic blade mounting platforms. This is not the case with the Solo Edge. Every aspect sought in a quality razor is offered. The geometry in context to the preset angle is flawless. I own all matter of vintage to modern SE razor. This one out performs them all, and costs less; the reason of wet shaving in the first place.
This razor is sweet! I was wondering how it would be without the folding traditional straight razor. I’ve been a barber for 14 years now and I’m really picky with my tools. All of my razors are from Parker and they’re the folding kind.. but this one… was awesome! I actually like the style a lot. I felt like I had really good control of the razor the whole time. Around the mustache that’s important. It’s nicely balanced. The blade sits perfectly in the holder. All around a really dope razor! Get yourself one, you won’t regret it!
